AUTOMATION
Addmore Engineering Ltd has invested in robotic cells to maximise the efficiency of our CNC machines. The first project involved the installation of an ABB Robot onto a Kitamura Horizontal Machining Centre to enable us to manufacture 600 aluminium actuator bodies and have an unmanned run time of 18 hours.
ASSEMBLY
Our assembly department utilises methods such as riveting, bending and presses to offer fully assembled solutions to our customers. Anything that cannot be made in our machine shop will be purchased by Addmore and added to the finished product.
SURFACE AND HEAT TREATMENTS
We will manage the outsourcing of any finishing processes with our approved suppliers. Treatments include anodising, chemi blacking, zinc plating, vacuum harden, age harden, precipitation harden, nitride, plasma nitride, case harden and annealing of components of various materials.
DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE
Addmore Engineering’s extensive experience in CNC machining ensures that we can offer advice to improve our customers’ existing designs, resulting in cost, performance and delivery improvements.
